In 2017, she complied with the law .................. on freedom of association in Burkina Faso. The setting up of the PASMEP association was made necessary not only to enhance the project's achievements in terms of rural development, but to respond to a concern for strategic positioning in a context where the problem of pastoralism remains a major challenge to overcome. in Burkina Faso and the Sahel. The implementation of PASMEP responds to the growing demand for support and accompaniment of pastoralists. In a context marked by decentralization, climate change, the scarcity of land and pastoral resources, etc. , the future of pastoralists, agropastoralists and pastoralists must be taken into account in policies and strategies at all levels. PASMEP aims to be an association specialized in issues related to pastoralism and agropastoralism in the Sahel in general and in Burkina Faso in particular.
